Robert has been practicing architecture for over 30 years in New York City, Long Island, Connecticut, and the Hudson Valley. With each project, a methodical plan is developed with sensitivity to site character and specific conditions. Each project is successfully accomplished with the benefit of Robert’s extensive experience in commercial and residential building. This includes design, planning, project management and a special emphasis on custom woodwork where desired or warranted.

Marrapodi Architecture was established in the town of Rhinebeck in 1999. Services offered are residential design, renovation, historic restoration and light commercial work. Robert does an extensive amount of consulting, site planning and feasibility evaluation. His effort is in adding well thought out buildings to the environment while fostering the general public’s enthusiasm and appreciation for good design. This can be accomplished in any budget scenario with the guidance of a sympathetic and experienced design professional.
